"Alamat na Kapangyarihan ng Alibata" - Magic Book CG Boost Entry

In a hidden magical vault where only the powerful wizard can access lie a vast treasure made not with gold but with old paper and ancient words. Among this treasured Magical book stands out a mystical and powerful one that comes to life when the magic hour comes. The legendary book of Alibata (An ancient Filipino writing system). It flies like a butterfly and roams the infinite library where it searches for another one like it.

Submitted this artwork for the CGBoost Challenge "Magic Book" Theme. My 2nd try at the challenge. My artwork won 3rd place Overall.

Created this artwork from concept to 3D. 3D modeled and textured all the books (7 folded books and 1 book with multiple pages). Added plane background and scatter the books using particles. Used photoshop for Color grading.
